Hello lovelies!
I don't know about you, but when it feels like summer's coming, all I want to do is get a hair cut! I get my hair cut pretty infrequently - maybe 2 or 3 times a year most of the time, and for the past few years, my hairstyle has been pretty much the same. Below shoulder length, side fringe or full fringe with varying degrees of choppyness depending on how close it is to my wedding.
However, after umpteen years of the same hair style, I'm thinking of a change - maybe some sort of bob? I'm not really sure. I'd love it if you could help me work out it (especially since you were all so awesome at giving me some amazing clothes suggestions a while back - you're all much better at this sort of thing than me). To help you with the process, I'm going to show you a really terrifying picture of my naked face to help you get an idea of my face shape (also, answers on a postcard for what kind of shape it is - the closest we've come is sqoval.... like a square oval).
*shudders* There's my scary naked face for you. Sorry about the eyebrows. Also - I do have a chin.... photobooth just chose to make it look like my neck instead.
Here's the sort of thing I'm thinking of but I'm open to being told "Don't do it - you'll look like a fat tomato" and being given alternatives :D
Thanks in advance for being awesome - you guys rock my world <3 xx
PS If you live in York (or nearby) please feel free to recommend me a hairdresser as well - I've never quite managed to settle on one :/
The very top right is stunning! Just take the pics to the hairdresser, dude.
ReplyDeleteI think I like the top right haircut best. I also have a squoval face (maybe even a little more square than yours) and I find that, when I do short hair, I look best if it's SUPER SHORT or just below chin length.
ReplyDeleteIf you take the pictures to your hairstylist, make sure it's someone you trust. I've had less-than-stellar results taking magazine clippings/photos to people I don't know. Last time I showed a picture of a chin-length bob, and the person cut my hair to a pixie cut.
Aww you look cute without makeup! I like the bobs with a longer fringe. I think the shorter ones are harder to maintain when they start to grow out and can look too Pulp Fiction which means you will have have a certain look all the time.
ReplyDeleteSeeing as you are an outdoor girl you need something versatile and possibly long enough to still have a small ponytail if you don't have time to wash your hair if you are going out for a run or cycling.
