Hello lovelies!
This week has been slightly quieter than normal as I've been trying hard to sort some difficult things out in my head and also I've been enjoying having many a free evening to spend with the husband :D I hope you're all well and happy.
I thought I'd start foundation week a little early with a question - what is your current holy grail foundation? If you don't have a h.g., what's you're favourite at the moment, the one that you reach for automatically without even thinking about it?
I think my current favourite is a combination of Lush Colour Supplement in Dark Yellow (which reminds me, I have an update post to do about the Lush Colour Supplements... watch this space) mixed with a little moisturiser and then either Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in Blondie or The Body Shop Mineral Foundation in 03.
I have been using Lily Lolo for years and I highly recommend it but I've broadened my horizons a bit lately and am also enjoying Mac Studio Sculpt. :)
ReplyDeleteI mix my foundations !!! At the moment : Gosh Extreme wear with Revlon Photoready...
ReplyDeleteIn winter my HG is Revlon colorstay : fantastic staying power, not drying and when you get the trick to apply it sparingly : gorgeous flawless skin !

At the moment my favourite is GOSH x-ceptional wear foundation in Porcelain. It's the closest match for my skin tone and seems to work well, but i've not used foundation too extensively so i'm not really sure about the formula :P
ReplyDeleteFoundations I love:
ReplyDeleteMeow's Pampered Puss in Inquisitive Siamese (have to add a bit of Snow Leopard right now to tweak it lighter because I got paler over winter)
Stardust Mattifying foundation in Pale Neutral
Aromaleigh's Glissade in 1CL+ Alabaster
the best one ive found l'oreal infallible.. but mainly because i cant find many that are pale enough for my fair skin.

I don't really have a holy grail foundation as I buy different ones to try all the time BUT I am loving Collection 2000's lasting perfection foundation at the moment. You only need a little bit and gives great coverage. Lasts a good while too. The only downside is that it is a bit thick, that's why I only apply a little. I am quite liking Mac's face & body foundation too.
ReplyDeleteI love Revlon Colorstay Foundation at the moment!! :) It's my new favorite foundation!!
